The purpose of the "Sustainable Youth Employment Program" jointly implemented by the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan is to strengthen the social protection of young people from a vulnerable group, increase their knowledge and skills, realize their ideas, including ensuring their employment, increase the competitiveness of young people in the labour market, and realize their existing potential.
The "Sustainable Youth Employment" program includes the "Start Your Business Marathon", "Wage Subsidy for Employers" and "Professional Youth" projects.
During the implementation of projects, priority is given to young people who are unemployed and looking for work, have no qualifications and professions, disabled for and are included in the risk group, participated in the Patriotic War, suffered as a result of the second Karabakh war, and are members of the families of martyrs.
The website www.genc.az was created by the Agency and the Foundation for applying to the Sustainable Youth Employment program.
