The "Self-employment support-2021" project is jointly implemented by the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and Azerbaijan Banks Association. The purpose of the project is to create small businesses with the support of banks within the self-employment program for low-income, disabled persons, family members of martyrs, veterans, internally displaced persons, recipients of targeted state social assistance and other vulnerable groups.
In 2021, 500 unemployed persons from the mentioned categories are expected to be involved in the project.
Those who want to apply for the project can apply to the relevant DOST Centers and Regional Employment branches in the region where they are registered.
