Success
The "Employment Support in Azerbaijan" project is jointly implemented by the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the World Bank. The aim of the project is to expand the self-employment program based on the best practices, to involve persons with disabilities who are registered as unemployed, family members of martyrs, internally displaced persons, targeted state social assistance recipients, women, youth and other persons from vulnerable groups into the self-employment program, to provide their formal employment at the expense of the World Bank funds and to create opportunity to access the labour market and decent employment.
Project implementation period: 2020-2025.
An Evaluation Commission was established for the selection of beneficiaries of the project.
Those who want to apply for the project can apply to the relevant DOST Centers and Regional Employment branches in the region where they are registered.
