Success
The project "Support for the social development of single mothers" was jointly implemented by the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency, "Social Integration of Boarding School Graduates" Youth Public Union, Azerigas Production Union and Shamakhi District Executive Authority with the support of Commercial Banks.
The aim of the project is to expand the employment opportunities of single and multi-child women who raise minor children.
In May 2022, with the support of "Bank Respublika" OJSC, a social enterprise was launched in Shamakhi within the framework of the "Support for the social development of single mothers" project.
Within the framework of the project, 15 women who have successfully drafted a business plan will be given the assets on "small tailor's shop" within the framework of the self-employment program. To date, 9 people have been provided with assets. Other candidates will be provided with assets soon.
