As a result of regular negotiations conducted between the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency (APEA) and the SOCIEUX+ to cooperate since 2021, an agreement was reached on obtaining technical assistance for the purpose of mapping and improving vocational training centers. Within the framework of the technical assistance the visit of experts from the Employment Service of the Kingdom of Sweden to the APEA was organized in June, September and November 2022, consisting of three stages.
SOCIEUX+ is a technical cooperation mechanism created and co-financed by the European Union (EU). SOCIEUX+ ensures equal exchange and cooperation between the member states of the European Union and more than 155 partner countries.
The main goal of the cooperation and agreed technical assistance is to update the vocational training program in our country by applying the European, especially Swedish experience, to increase the professionalism of the employees and prepare professional personnel suitable for the labour market.
