International Labour Organization

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is one of the organizations of the United Nations that regulates labour issues in the international sphere. The Republic of Azerbaijan has been a member of this organization since May 12, 1992 and joined its 57 Conventions and accepted the principles and norms established there.

Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency (APEA) regularly expands cooperation relations with the International Labour Organization on improving labour issues, including employment sphere. In this regard, the participation of the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency in international seminars and meetings organized by the ILO  is ensured, and the recommendations and projects of the International Labour Organization related to the development of employment are kept in focus.
