Romania

Cooperation relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Romania began from the first days of Azerbaijan's independence. During the last years, more than 60 documents serving to improve the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania were signed and contributed to the development of strategic partnership. In addition, the Joint Commission operating between the two countries has created a basis for strengthening cooperation.

Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency, in turn, supported the improvement of partnership between the countries by forming cooperation relations with the National Agency for Employment of Romania. A clear example of this cooperation is the regular exchange of information between institutions and the study of best practices.

In April 2022, during the World Congress held by the WAPES in Tallinn, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Managing Board of the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency and the head of the National Employment Agency of Romania, the prospects of cooperation were discussed and an agreement was reached on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
