The basis of cooperation in the field of employment between the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency (APEA) and the Unemployment Insurance Fund of the Republic of Estonia (Fund) was laid in April 2022 during the World Congress held by the WAPES in Tallinn, the capital of the Republic of Estonia, in the framework of the meeting between the heads of the two institutions. During the meeting, Mustafa Abbasbayli, the Chairman of the Managing Board of the APEA, and Milis Paavel, the Director of the Fund, signed the Action Plan for 2022 between the two institutions. According to the Action Plan, study visit and workshop on the topics of "Career counseling" and "Self-employment" have been organized.
