"Creation of inclusive and decent jobs for socially vulnerable groups of the population" project

The goal of the "Creation of inclusive and decent jobs for socially vulnerable groups of the population" project jointly implemented by the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the United Nations Development Program is to increase the potential of unemployed and jobseekers from vulnerable groups and to create opportunities for their involvement in productive employment in the labour market.

 

The project started in January 2019 and is expected to continue until January 2024.

 

For the 1st year of the project, 12 regions and cities were selected (Sabunchu and Binagadi regions of Baku, Absheron region, Shamakhi, Zagatala, Shamkir, Barda, Fuzuli region, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Goychay and Ganja city).

 

Within the framework of the project, appropriate training was given to the persons selected as beneficiaries, and the business plans prepared by the participants were submitted for evaluation.

 

At present, appropriate work is being done to provide assets to those whose business plan has been approved.
